TEMERLOH: The educational institutions under PAS have no connection to cases involving Global Ikhwan Service and Business Holdings (GISBH).
PAS President, Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang, firmly stressed that his party has no direct or indirect ties to GISBH.
“There are no PAS members involved, and this issue has nothing to do with us,” he stated during a press conference following his presidential speech and the officiation of the 70th PAS Annual Muktamar at the Al-Makmur Complex, Kerdau, earlier today.
Also in attendance were PAS Spiritual Leader, Dato’ Hashim Jasin, PAS Deputy President, Dato’ Sri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, and PAS Secretary General, Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan.
Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang, who is also the Member of Parliament for Marang, further added that the investigation into the case is fully under the jurisdiction of the authorities and will be left entirely to the police.
“Islam is a religion that will always be preserved. Any party that attempts to interfere in Islamic matters will inevitably face God’s protection over this faith,” he stated.
Tan Sri Abdul Hadi also clarified that PAS has an internal control mechanism to ensure discipline within the party and proper management of all its educational institutions, such as Taman Asuhan Tunas Islam (TASTI), Pusat Asuhan Tunas Islam (PASTI), Sekolah Rendah Integrasi Teras Islam (SRITI), and Sekolah Menengah Integrasi Teras Islam (SMITI).
“In PAS, we have our own committee to ensure everything is under control, while other external parties have no involvement with us,” he added. – HARAKAHDAILY 14/9/2024
