KALABAKAN: PERIKATAN NASIONAL (PN) candidate for the Tanjung Batu state seat, Ahmad Dullah, has reaffirmed his commitment to continue championing issues affecting the people.
He said leadership is not merely about election promises, but a significant responsibility that must be carried out with integrity and honesty.
According to him, every voice of the people must be given space in the development process so that the needs and problems of the community can be translated into swift and effective action.
“The welfare of the people must be prioritised, especially in the areas of education, economy, social well-being and family development, to ensure a balanced life for the local community,” he said in a small-group lecture session organised by the Tanjung Batu Polling District Unit (UDM) yesterday.
He also announced the proposal to establish the Tanjung Batu ADUN Service Centre if given the mandate, providing an official and easily accessible channel for the public to seek assistance and submit complaints.
Additionally, he pledged to hold people’s dialogue sessions every six months to strengthen two-way engagement between leaders and the community, as well as evaluate the effectiveness of development initiatives.
To boost the local economy, Ahmad proposed a “one house, one entrepreneur” programme aimed at producing more new entrepreneurs through guidance, training and marketing support.
The event concluded with an interactive session with residents, giving him the opportunity to listen to suggestions and views from the community to enhance development in Tanjung Batu.
In this state election, he is contesting against four other candidates in Tanjung Batu, which has 27,428 registered voters. – HARAKAHDAILY 27/11/2025
