In a concerted effort to foster unity and bridge cultural divides, the National Unity Bureau of PAS Youth Malaysia organized a transformative event that transcended political boundaries and ignited hope for a more inclusive society.

On February 7th, 2024, a delegation from PAS Youth, led by deputy chief Hafez Sabri, embarked on a meaningful visit to the House of Love, a Chinese children’s home located in Klang. The event underscored the party’s commitment to reaching out to marginalized communities and promoting understanding across religious and ethnic lines.

The delegates were warmly welcomed by Dr. Joseph Pang, chairman of the home, along with Jason Leong and Joshua Hong, advisors of the home. This gesture of hospitality symbolized a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect, setting the stage for meaningful dialogue and collaboration.

For PAS Youth, the visit represented more than just a charitable act; it was an opportunity for exchange of experiences and expanding networks. By engaging with the residents and learning about the programs and initiatives of the House of Love, the delegates gained valuable insights that will inform their future efforts in promoting social cohesion and harmony.

During the visit, Hafez Sabri and his team distributed ang pow to 28 children, accompanied by practical contributions such as groceries, exemplifying the party’s commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.

Furthermore, the delegation was given a comprehensive tour of the home, providing them with firsthand knowledge of its structure and programs. This exchange served to deepen understanding and foster empathy, laying a solid foundation for continued collaboration and partnership.

PAS Youth’s participation in this event signifies a shift in perception, challenging stereotypes and demonstrating a genuine desire to build bridges across communities. As Malaysia continues its journey towards progress and inclusivity, initiatives like these serve as beacons of hope, inspiring others to embrace diversity and work towards a brighter, more harmonious future.– HARAKAHDAILY  10/2/2024
