It did not give further details.

Key events involving participants from Russia and African countries were scheduled during the exhibition as per information on the official website.

According to a Defence Ministry statement in February, 930 exhibitors had registered for the event and their numbers were expected to cross 1,000.

The participation level was comparable with the biennial show’s previous edition in Lucknow in the state of Uttar Pradesh in 2020.

The postponed show was to be held in both physical and virtual modes to ensure greater participation in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic.
