KUALA LUMPUR – Depositors can now update their personal information through the THiJARI application without having to go to the Tabung Haji (TH) offices, beginning today.
TH Business Digitalisation general manager Mohamed Ameen Abdul Wahab in a statement today said that among the personal information that can be updated online were titles, emails, permanent and correspondence addresses, home and office telephone numbers, marriage status, bank account numbers and others.
“TH is committed in providing the best service which is customer-friendly including online application via THiJARI.
“TH has improved its digital platform so that depositors can update their personal information online to facilitate their affairs in the future,” he said.
Mohamed Ameen said if depositors wanted to update their registered mobile phone numbers, they are required to come personally to the nearest TH branch which is in line with Bank Negara Malaysia’s Electronic Know-Your-Customer (e-KYC) policy.
To date, THiJARI has recorded an average of 50,000 transactions a day dan 1.5 million transactions a month involving a deposit value of more than RM200 million via online.
