CHUKAI – PAS members and supporters have been reminded not to become complacent and overly confident in the strength of their party but instead to continue working hard to defend the Kemaman parliamentary seat they previously won.

Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, the PAS candidate for the Kemaman by-election, emphasized the need for the party machinery to maintain its momentum and work diligently until the last moment of the campaign period.

He highlighted the seriousness with which PAS approaches every election and stressed that, regardless of the potential for victory, the party’s commitment and effort remained consistent.

He acknowledged the challenges faced in the current by-election, emphasizing that victory is not assured until the finish line is reached.

Speaking at a speech here, Ahmad Samsuri, who also serves as the Terengganu Menteri Besar, emphasized the importance of careful movement and strategic planning.

He expressed optimism in achieving victory on December 2, the day of the election.

The Kemaman Parliamentary by-election features a one-on-one contest between Barisan Nasional (BN) and PAS.

General (Retd) Tan Sri Raja Mohamed Affandi Raja Mohamed Noor is the BN candidate, while Ahmad Samsuri is tasked with defending the Kemaman parliamentary seat for PAS.
