KANGAR – The Faizuddin Center of Educational Excellence (FCoEE) is becoming a leader in digital education in the state in an effort to produce students with first-class mentality, said the Raja Muda of Perlis Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail.
In a statement issued by Istana Arau today, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin said this was carried out under the Jamalullail Digitalisation programme which emphasises Self Believe, Self Confidence, Self Esteem and Self Motivation.
According to the statement, the Raja of Perlis said this in his speech at the “Majlis Appresiasi Akar Tunjang Kemenjadian Murid Tahun 2022, a programme organised by the State Education Department last night, which was also attended by the Raja Puan Muda of Perlis Tuanku Hajah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil.
Also present were Menteri Besar Mohd Shukri Ramli and State Education director Naharudeen Othman.
Tuanku Syed Faizuddin, who is FCoEE patron, said there is always room and opportunities for improvements in the national education system to ensure it remains relevant.
He hoped that the latest teaching and learning facilities, as well as the adoption of caring school culture would help to produce more well-rounded students.
He suggested schools in the state emulate the education system of countries such as Australia and New Zealand.
“This is because their education system prioritises ‘hands-on’ concept, such as working together with classmates to complete a given project. This has been proven to be effective in attracting students’ interest compared to just being in class for hours,” he added. – Bernama
