KOTA BHARU – The Red Warriors (TRW) head coach Yusri Che Lah wants his boys to be wary of Penang import striker Anselmo Casagrande ahead of the Premier League match at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium tomorrow evening.
Yusri said the import striker from Brazil would be a major threat to TRW if his players did not take the player seriously.
“My boys, especially in the defence position, need to focus and work hard to ensure the Brazilian player does not spring surprises which could jeopardise TRW.
“Anselmo Casagrande has the advantage of his physique not to mention the skill and ability to score in difficult positions,” he said when contacted here, today.
After four matches in the Premier League competition, Anselmo Casagrande had scored six goals, proving that opponents need to keep an eye on the Brazilian-born striker.
Yusri said Cassagrande is not only able to score goals but also has the ability to create opportunities for his teammates to score as well.
“I want my players to give their best in tomorrow’s match,” he said.
He added that TRW should give their best before the end of 90 minutes tomorrow evening to ensure victory.
“I have faith in the boys and trust that they are able to carry out the task well,” he said.
Kelantan is currently ranked seventh in the Premier League standing after collecting four points from four matches.
