“I humbly call on voters who are in Kemaman in particular, to go out and exercise their right to vote.

“To the voters who are outside Kemaman, whether in the border area or Kuala Lumpur, Penang and so on, come home to fulfill your rights brothers and sisters.

“When you return home, keep order on the road. Drive carefully so that you can return home safely and return to your respective workplaces,” he said, who is also Terengganu Mentri Besar.

He also advised voters to fulfill this right and responsibility to bring a clear message to our country.

In a recent interview, Ahmad Samsuri openly recognized the imperative for PAS to strategize proactively over the coming decade.

Emphasizing the importance of not merely maintaining relevance but actively contributing to steering the nation’s course, he articulated the need for PAS to evolve into a party capable of providing a clear trajectory for the country.

Ahmad Samsuri expanded the scope beyond the traditional strongholds of Kelantan, Terengganu, Kedah, and Perlis, highlighting the broader national context.

Expressing awareness of the diverse population encompassing various ethnicities, religions, and cultures across the country, he underscored PAS’s commitment to representing all citizens, irrespective of their race or religion.

He clarified that PAS should not be confined to serving solely the interests of Malay and Muslim communities but should strive to be inclusive and accessible to every citizen.

Acknowledging that achieving this goal necessitates concerted effort and meticulous planning, Ahmad Samsuri outlined a vision for PAS to emerge as an exceptionally influential political force in the country within the next decade.

As the State Assemblyman for the Ru Rendang constituency in the Terengganu State Legislative Assembly, Ahmad Samsuri’s vision aligns with a broader mission to position PAS as a dominant and unifying force for the diverse populace of the nation.

The deputy president of the party, Dato Sri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, recently shared with reporters that PAS harbored a “big agenda” behind the decision to nominate Ahmad Samsuri for the federal seat.

When questioned by local media about this purported “big agenda,” Ahmad Samsuri downplayed the speculation, asserting that he himself was not privy to the details of this strategic plan.

Adding another layer to the discussion, former prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, who serves as the chairman of Perikatan Nasional (PN) and president of Bersatu, acknowledged during a press conference in Kemaman that there is an undeniable strategic dimension to fielding Ahmad Samsuri in Kemaman.

Muhyiddin stated that this move is a stepping stone, strategically positioned to pave the way for Ahmad Samsuri to be considered a potential candidate for the position of future prime minister.

Muhyiddin underscored the broader significance of such strategic maneuvers, suggesting that these calculated steps serve to demonstrate to the public the party’s wealth of intelligent and capable leaders, characterized by praiseworthy behavior.

He highlighted the diversity within the party, emphasizing the presence of moderates and professionals among its ranks.

Overall, Muhyiddin portrayed these strategic moves as a means to showcase a leadership team that is not only politically astute but also reflective of a broad spectrum of talents and expertise.

The Kemaman Parliamentary by-election on December 2 will see a one-on-one contest between PAS and BN with the latter being represented by General (R) Tan Sri Raja Mohamed Affandi Raja Mohamed Noor.
