“Three AMD players left for France this morning to undergo trial training with clubs there. They are expected to be attached with FC Annecy in France and Racing FC in Luxembourg.

“They are accompanied on the trip to France by National Football Development Programme (NFDP) technical director Saad Ichalalene and AMD under-17 coach Amarul Naza Mohamad,” the statement said.

AMD said Mohammad Haykal and Rohisham had played with the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) under-13 team at the V Memorial Giuseppe Augello international tournament in Rome, Italy in 2018.

Muhammad Abu is a key player of the AMD President’s Cup squad, who are now top of the table in the 2022 President’s Cup.

It said the programme, which was postponed for almost two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, would be continued for all generations at AMD.
