ALOR SETAR – The Kedah Football Association (KFA) will settle the balance three-month salary arrears of the Red Eagle squad players before Sept 30.
KFA president, Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor said the payment involved the salaries for April, May and June while the salaries for March, July, August and September had been paid out to the players.
‘’Salaries have to be paid before the seventh of each month, so all the current payments have been settled according to the stipulated time,’’ he told reporters after handing over contributions to residents affected by COVID-19 at the Kota Setar Disaster Operation Control Centre (PKOB), here, today.
He said that, with the payment, all the salary arrears of the Red Eagle’s players and officials would be fully settled.
Prior to this, KFA had a financial crisis, resulting in non-payment of salaries for four month from March, however, KFA was committed to solve it before this season ends.
