KUALA LUMPUR – Chin Eei Hui, Wong Pei Tty and Rosman Razak have left the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) coaching set-up at the Akademi Badminton Malaysia in Bukit Kiara.

According to a statement issued by the BAM, Ee Hui and Pei Tty’s contracts as women’s doubles coaches were not renewed while Rosman, who took charge of men’s doubles, decided to part ways by mutual consent.

“They are currently on leave and their contracts will expire at the end of 2020,” it said.

“All at BAM thank Rosman, Eei Hui and Pei Tty for their significant contributions to the national team over the years. We wish them well as they embark on their new endeavours,” the statement added.

It is believed that Eei Hui and Pei Tty’s contracts were not renewed after they failed to revive the fortunes of the women’s doubles players.

The duo forged a formidable combination during their glory days in the early 2000s, with their most memorable outing being winning the bronze medal at the 2006 Badminton World Cup in China.
