Prasarana buses, trains running normally

KUALA LUMPUR – The light rail transit (LRT), mass rapid transit (MRT), monorail, Rapid KL and Jom Naik MRT bus service will continue to run as normal from 6am – midnight, however frequency will depend on passenger demand in line with the conditional movement control order (CMCO) in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.

Prasarana Malaysia Bhd (Prasarana) said in a statement today: “We will closely monitor passenger flow tomorrow to balance capacity with demand to determine the train and bus frequency in coming days.

“Prasarana will issue a media statement on Friday with the latest update on passenger flow.”

Today, the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) announced that only a maximum 10 per cent of management and supervisory staff will be allowed to work at the office and for just four hours from 10am – 2pm beginning tomorrow (Oct 22) till the cessation of the CMCO.
