KOTA BHARU – An individual with experience in the field of business will head the administrative structure of Kelantan FC to strengthen the team’s finances as they prepare to face the Malaysia League (M-League) challenges in the coming seasons.

Team Red Warriors (TRW) Sdn Bhd operations manager Jamilulail Jamiludin said this was in line with the wishes of team owner Norizam Tukiman and consistent with the concept of the team’s privatisation.

“Norizam has identified the individual and we are confident the person can help strengthen the financial position of TRW Sdn Bhd and Kelantan FC,” he said when contacted today.

Jamilulail said they were also trying to identify the best location to be developed into a training centre for the team.

“The training centre is among the main concerns of the Kelantan FC owner and we hope that this matter can be realised soon as possible to ensure a smoother journey for Kelantan FC,” he said.

Meanwhile, he also explained that Kelantan FC and KAFA (Kelantan Football Association) had gone separate ways following the privatisation of the team for next season’s M-League competition.

“We admit that many fans are still confused with the privatisation issue, with many assuming that Kelantan FC still had ties with KAFA.

“Kelantan FC and KAFA are now different entities,” he said.

The Red Warriors (TRW) are now fully managed by TRW Sdn Bhd following Norizam’s purchase of 100 per cent of the shares from KAFA in September.
