RMAF to conduct low flying exercises from tomorrow

KUALA LUMPUR – The Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) will hold Paradise Exercise under the 7/2020 series involving the peninsula Malaysian air space starting tomorrow until Oct 23.

The RMAF, in a statement today, said the exercise required low flights by several types of aircraft belonging to RMAF during the day and night, in areas gazetted as the locations of the exercise.

“Among the aircraft involved include the fighter aircraft F/A-18D, Su-30MKM and Hawk 108/208; transporter aircraft C-130H, A400M and CN 235 other than the EC-725 AP helicopter.

“As such, the public is urged not to worry and panic upon seeing RMAF aircraft flying low during the exercise,” said the statement.

The statement also said that the exercise to be carried out by RMAF is to ensure its capability and preparedness are always at the best level specifically to protect the sovereignty of the national air space.
