KUALA LUMPUR – Konsortium Expressway Shah Alam Selangor Sdn Bhd (KESAS), operator of Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS) has lodged a police report on an incident of a man splashing his drink at a toll collector which went viral on social media yesterday morning.
KESAS in a statement said the investigation found that the incident took place after the man entered one of the lanes which did not provide top up for Touch ‘n Go card.
“The individual was not satisfied with the toll collector who did not allow the transaction as KESAS has designated a special lane for top-up services.
“Following the incident, KESAS lodged a police report to investigate the matter. The toll collector was taken off duty,” the statement said.
Earlier, a closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage at the toll plaza showed an individual driving a Perodua Bezza got out of his car before splashing a packet drink on the toll collector.
