TH depositors urged to reactivate accounts

KUALA LUMPUR – Tabung Haji (TH) depositors who have not done any transactions for more than seven consecutive years since 2013 are advised to reactive their accounts to avoid the accounts from being categorised as inactive or dormant.

TH, in a statement today, said they can reactivate the accounts by only making either a saving or withdrawal transaction.

”It can be done at 10,000 TH touch points or through counters, online and ATM machines or CDMs of TH strategic partners, namely Bank Islam, Maybank, Bank Rakyat and CIMB.

“It is important for TH depositors to ensure their accounts are active so that they can continue to enjoy the benefits of saving at TH, such as government guaranteed savings, profit distribution, zakat paid, syariah compliant, as well as tax exempted,” it said.

TH also advised its depositors to update their personal data such as address, telephone number and beneficiaries to facilitate the delivery of offer letters for pilgrimage and account management.
